our story going 20 years strong!
What began as a high school summer gig to make extra cash has grown into a thriving lawn care business in Chesterfield. My friend Hayden and I, both Manchester High School football teammates, started H&H—Hunter and Hayden—spending weekends mowing lawns and doing small landscape projects. It was tough work, but it sparked a passion in me.
After two years of electrical school, I realized my heart was in shaping outdoor spaces, not electrical wiring. Taking a leap of faith, I committed fully to growing the business. It hasn’t been easy, but the hard work has paid off, leading to growth both in equipment and in the talented team we’ve built. Today, with three crews out daily, we’re focused on delivering great service and achieving our goals.
Through trial and error, I’ve learned valuable lessons that have helped the business thrive, just like the lawns we care for. What started as a dream has become a reality, and we continue to grow, cultivating beautiful landscapes and a strong, lasting company for the future.
